About us

Established in 2014 at Université Laval in the CERVO Brain Research Centre, Québec City, Canada, the Sephton lab is dedicated to unraveling the mechanisms that cause the fatal motor neuron disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and developing targeted therapies based on these discoveries.  

 

Situated in a multi-disciplinary research environment with more than 40 laboratories and over 300 trainees and staff pursing basic and clinical neuroscience research, the Sephton lab provides a research rich environment with state-of-the art facilities and equipment.
